Andre and Maui

Once again....Andre Rieu was fantastic. He is quite the showman, and his band/orchestra is also. It amazes me how this is the fourth year in a row we have seen his show, and he still has so many of the same members. He must either be a great man to work for....or he pays very well! Not to mention the traveling all around the world. I wish he would change it up a little bit though. He still tells the same lame jokes, and plays most of the same songs. He did one or two different songs, but I wish he would have a new show every tour. I know...that is asking a lot, but I really would like to see something new. Still.....a great show. When they perform My Heart Will Go On and Amazing Grace (with bagpipes) you get chills. What is it about bagpipes that turn people to mush??? I don't think I know anyone who does not love the sound of bagpipes.

I think Robert has found a place for us to stay in Maui. OMG! It's gorgeous. He is emailing the owner today to reserve our week. I want September to get here NOW! It's perfect. Oceanfront.....pool.....beach.....ahhhhhhh........I can't wait to go and spend the entire week laying on the beach. We have talked and we are not going to do anything that week. Just lay around. We are going to hit up COSTCO as soon as we get there, since it is near the airport. Get some supplies for the week. Maybe hit up some local fruit stands. I will download some books onto the Sony Reader so that I will only have to bring that and not a bunch of books. Then I will just lay around...snorkel a little. Robert did say that he was thinking of taking an excursion out to Molokini Crater. I would do that if he wanted too. But I'm not going to ask him to do a bunch of stuff like we usually do. I really want to just relax. AND SOAK UP SOME SUN!
