"You probably don't remember me, but......"

Last night at my niece's graduation I saw a couple people that I went to schol with. High School and Elementary School. A lady named Karen and a guy named Steve. Oh gosh....did I ever have a crush on Steve in Elementary School! LOL! Karen was sitting right in front of me. The lady next to her talked and talked and talked.....good lord. But I have decided to say Hi to people from school when I see them. Why not? I think it makes someone feel good when you say Hi. Even if they don't remember who you are, you have remembered who they are. I think that makes someone feel good. So I interrupted little chatty Kathy, and said Hi to Karen. We had a brief conversation, and then chatty Kathy started back at where I interrupted her at. People like that drive me nuts, but I didn't have to listen to her! And then I knew that Steve was sitting behind me because when they said his sons name they cheered. After the ceremony I saw him outside and decided that I would say Hi to him too. He was very nice and we chatted a little. He asked if I see anyone from Elementary School. I told him that I chat with one online, Sheryl. He laughed and said he still has the scar by his eye where she threw a rock at him! Too funny. So I stepped up and said Hi, and I feel good about it. They may not remember me, but I remembered them.
At the Andre Rieu concert the other night, one of his singers performed the song Time to Say Goodbye. It's a beautiful song. Here is a video of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman performing it. So beautiful......
