Light up the Weekend

Tonight we are headed to Seattle to spend the night at Bryan & Celina's and then tomorrow we are headed to Leavenworth, WA for their Christmas Lighting Ceremony. Can't wait! We love going to this little Bavarian themed town in the Cascade Mountains. We have never been there this time of year. We usually go in the Summer. It's a better drive and we like to stop at local fruit stands. We tried to find hotel rooms, but everything was booked. We found out that people book almost a year in advance so that they can go this weekend. Since there were no rooms, we booked a bus trip from Seattle. This will be nice too. We will be picked up in Lynwood, and then driven to Leavenworth to spend the day. And then about an hour after the Lighting Ceremony we get back on the bus to have someone else do all the driving! Sounds good to us!

I will take pics and post a couple here and more on myspace on Sunday.

Have a great weekend!!!

Cyber Bully

** sigh **
Will some people ever grow up? I can not understand how someone can have so much hatred for a person whom they have never even met. How can you get so wrapped up in what someone is doing when you don't even know them? Why do you care? What could they have done over the internet that was so horrible to you that you have had to bully them for the better part of a year?
But I think the question that is bothering me the most is this....
Why is it allowed?
I truely believe that some people have really big hearts and just do not see, or maybe they do want to see, that someone is being a cyber bully. It seems to me that people just put on blinders and ignore it. If it is not directed at them, then they just don't care. But it is that attitude that allows cyber bullying to continue. I was told once that I was being a bully to someone. I was completely clueless as to what I had done. I still to this day am because I was never told what it was that I had said to make them feel this way. But since this person told me I scared them and they felt I was a bully, I left. I did not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I knew that his person needed that place more than I did. So I left. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I am anything but a bully. But I do get defensive when I see that other people are being treated unfairly. I stand up for people who are being targeted. I guess that is the momma bear in me. Is standing up for someone being a bully? I hope not. Is telling someone that
"you have no idea who you are messing with.......but if you persist....you will know...." being a bully? Is telling someone that you signed them up at websites and told strangers
"all the places you can be found......" being a bully?
In my book it is.
Any comment left on my blog from this person will be deleted from now on.

My mind is blank now.....

Last night I had in mind an idea for my blog this morning.....annnnnnd it's gone. I can't remember what it was I was going to talk about. Oh well....

Yesterday was a super busy day for me. After noon that is. I woke up at 5:30AM and could not get back to sleep. I decided to just get up. I spent about 2 hours on the computer and then I was tired. Since it was my day off, I went back to bed. I didn't wake up until after 10:30!!!! How pathetic. I putzed around for a while and ate lunch. I decided I better get motivated and not waste my day off. I put on Holiday Inn and started working on my scrapbooks. I ended up watching Holiday Inn, Elf and then It's A Wonderful Life. Took a break and ate some dinner and then started up again. By this time I was watching Santa Claus is Coming to Town and then the ABC shows that came on afterwards. I finished what I was doing at 10pm. I was so tired, but I had to get on Facebook and look for the new Christmas Snowman egg. After an hour and forty minutes I found it and went to bed. So that was my day. Your world will spin quite nicely today having this knowledge!

Have a great day everyone!!!

It's a WICKED world!

OMG! We have tickets to see Wicked in April! I'm so excited. I have wanted to see this show really bad. The only thing that could make it better is if I was actually going to see it in NY. But I'm thinking I will not be going to NY anytime in the near future, so Portland it will be.

What a fiasco trying to get the tickets. I like to get Saturday matinee shows my mom. I will sit just about anywhere, as long as a tall guy does not sit in front of me. I try to get Center Boxes in the First Balcony. Mom's favorite place to sit. But nothing was available. I was a little confused because this was the presale. But after I was done I think I figured out what the problem was. I was asking for 6 seats and I think those rows are only 5. I should have searched for 4 and then 2. Katie and Mara could have sat together. We ended up in a center section, first balcony row B. Still really good seats. I asked Katie if I should have tried the 4 and 2 and she said the seats we have are good and this way we can all sit together. Everyone else is happy with the seats, so YAY! But oiy....what a joke trying to get them. First I spent a bunch of time checking for tickets at all of the matinee shows. Then I was given the seats that I wanted and could not remember my password, so I lost them to the time limit. Got them back, and then lost them again because I had to go to my email and get a temp password. Then I lost them when I put in mom's credit card number and it did not match my credit card number on file. And by the way, I do not remember telling them to hold my number on file. I never do that. Oh well. Then I lost them again when I tried to input my mom's credit card number and needed more info, so I had to call her back. But I finally got all of mom's info and the tickets. We are ready to go! I was so frustrated though. And cussing up a storm. I felt bad afterward because mom could tell I was getting frustrated. I think the 4 letter words spewing from my mouth were more than enough of a clue to my frustration!

But all is now well. We have the tickets. We are all happy with the seats.

SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Have a great day everyone!

A hunting we did go! A hunting we did go!

It was a really nice morning to go out and cut down our Christmas trees. It wasn't very cold at all, but a little foggy. We were planning on going to the place we have been going to for the last few years, but they were not going to open until noon. We were done with breakfast by 10:30. So we drove out there just to make sure, and they were closed. We ended up going to the big Christmas Tree lot that everyone and their mother goes too. But we found trees right away. They shake and bale them if you want. They are more spendy than the other places, but Robert didn't seem to mind. Since Katie and Tim were planning on the less expensive trees at the other place, we paid for half of their tree. I didn't think it was fair to have them pay the higher price because I goofed about the time the other one was going to open. This place has hay rides, a petting zoo, hot choco, and a little store. It was fun going there.

Here are a couple of pics of our morning!

Anyone else have their tree up yet????
