**UPDATE ON CHRISTIAN THE LION**

Katie posted this on Myspace, and it's just too good not to share. It still brings me to tears.
Enjoy...

Oh! I had caught the interview with these two men and the story of their pet lion and how they returned him to the wild and were reunited. That was an amazing story of man and wild animals. That is awesome! I have not been on MS much at all these days but I read a bulletin last night. Palin is killing Alaskan wolves and their cubs with gas bombs tossed from the air. She pisses me off so much with her cold hearteed mentality. Nature has its own form of allowing over populations of wild animals. I get so burned out with Alaskan mentality. I spent enough time trying to inform people about the clubbing of baby seals. There are coyotes all around where I live and I am sure that knocks down the rabbit population but I am not going to toss gas bombs at them.
Hope everyone is having a good week end. I love Spring!!!!

Good Evening Barb & Gals,

I haven't been on the computer much in the past few weeks, just to check email and myspace and facebook. I'm learning facebook a little, but I really need to spend more time on it to get to know it. But maybe this summer I will have some time, we only have 11 more weeks until Summer Vacation HOORAH!!!!! I love Summer Vacation.

Hi Dreama

I am asking for prayers, good thoughts, ANYTHING for my SIL, as many of you have known shes had MS since the age of 22 she will be 39 on May 16. Right after she graduated from Michigan State she was diagnosed with MS, it was very sad, but at least she had the experience of college, shes never been married or had children, one of the dreams that she really wanted.

For the past 2 years her disease has been getting worse, we all knew it shes been in and out of the hospital. She had an MRI on Wednesday, and the results came back not very good, she has Massive Advance Damage in her nervous system and 100's of lesions on her brain. The doctor told her there is nothing else the Local Hospitals can do for her, she has to go to the University of Michigan or the Cleveland Clinic. This morning my SIL woke up and could not move (shes been in a wheelchair since March of 1993) her arms NOTHING and she could not speak, just blink her eyes. My in-laws took her to UofM. They are also gone because UofM is about an hour and a 1/2 away from here. So they are staying at a hotel near the hospital.

I am taking care of my mother who also cannot walk and is now in a wheel chair and she stays upstairs most of the time now. She will be having surgery as soon as she has the MRI which is on Tuesday, its such a process you have to go thru and shes in so much pain it hurts me.

Thank you all

Love Renee Eve

I do think that there needs to be some hunting of game type animals because when they are over populated the food source becomes scarse they starve to death. I think that is more cruel than someone hunting the animals and then using the meat to feed people. I do not agree with hunting preditor animals. That is their nature, leave them to cull the herds the way nature intended. And don't even get me started on that idiot Palin.
Renee Eve.....I'm so sorry about your SIL. I will be sending postive thoughts her way. I will be thinking of you and I am sending you big hugs....
