We had such a great time yesterday and Jack & Donna's 50 Wedding Anniversary. My goodness....there were so many people there! They have a ton of friends! Jack is an only child, but Donna is the oldest of 8. Yes....8!!! And all but one brother were there yesterday. It was so sweet to see that many people there to celebrate with this wonderful couple. Jimmy was there too. Jimmy, for those of you who read my blog regularly might remember, lost his wife Norma very unexpectedly last summer. It was good to see him. He still wants all of us to come down to the lake for a weekend. He said "I don't know who is going to do all the cooking without Norm there, but I'll be sure to have gas!" He of course was referring to the BBQ! He's so funny. We all still really miss Norma. What a wonderful lady.....
After the party we went to the Eagles where Jack & Donna had their motor home parked with a bunch of other friends from out of town and their motor homes. They were still having quite the party. We stayed until I could not take the cold anymore, which was almost 10PM. I think they stayed up drinking and whooping it up until well into the night!
Tonight we are going to see Andre Rieu with hubby's dad and his wife. We think this may be our 4th time. Maybe 5th. Lost count. We always go with them. It's a lot of fun. Andre puts on a great show!
