"I'll wash my hair in snow!"

Pics of the yard and neighborhood just now

Pics from work yesterday

We are suppose to get the mother of all snow storms tonight. They have predicted blizzard type conditions starting around 4PM. We're not suppose to get it as bad as the Seattle area though. They are going to get up to 75 mph winds. Our winds will get up to about 50. But still! And we are suppose to get 6-10" of snow. It is snowing right now. But we only have about an inch or so. I will update today with more pictures if it really starts getting good. If I don't....it's because we have lost our power!

Stay safe everyone!

I don't know the name of the movie. Hmmm...
I just got a text message from ReneeEve and she told me they have 10" of snow on the ground and that her son will be uploading pictures soon.
Our skies are overcast but the temperature is 70 degrees. Tomorrow morning will be a whole different story. It will be very cold however we will bounce back and on Christmas Eve we will be back to 70.
Last night I finally got to watch Mama Mia.
This afternoon we are going over to my parents house to sample foods. My cousin sent a New York cheescake with a chocolate cake bottom. My uncle sent a 7 layer orange cake from Florida. My sister sent pastries and a Honey Baked ham. Hopefully my stomach can handle a little bit of sampling.:0)
Yesterday we ate at IHOP and I had just plain wheat toast and scrambled eggs however I snitched a few of David's french fries and my stomach wasn't very happy about that so I came home and had a Prevacid and downed Pepto Bismol. :p
I guess it will take a little while for my stomach lining to be 100%.
I got an e-mail from MaryMi and she told me that they were worried about losing power but didn't as their snowstorm blew through. She wrote to me to give me a few kind words about my animal rescue bulletin that showed the faces of the under weight Doberman that was saved from the same family who gave the Pug a forever home. Yay to two more saved furbabies! I am always thrilled when someone sees a cat, dog or puppy that can fit into their home as part of the family.

I'm going to bed. I am sleepy. Long day here and David went Christmas shopping at the last minute and needed me to get wrapping paper for him. I finally got them wrapped. If anyone is still up....Wabbear is throwing a Winter Solstice party over at Rossblog. There's lot to drink and eat. I'm going back for more Texas Caviar!!!!!
