Sorry...I have been just plugging along today and totally forgot to blog. Ooooopsie....
Had a wonderful day yesterday. Took a craft class with my friends Beth and Sandy. And then hubby cooked me a dinner of roast, rice and green beans. It was yummy. Today we are going to use the left over roast and have french dips for dinner. Yummy again. He also bought the most yummy chocolaty rich brownie for dessert. I could not even eat half of it! It's soooo good. And also a beautiful arrangement of roses. It was a fantastic day!

Dreama....I would give the new neighbor the benefit of doubt for now. We all have bad days. But if it continues, I would be concerned.

Hola Barb :) Ok - that's my Spanish for the day :D hahaha. I had a good time volunteering with mom - I wish I could work in her office, all of us get along so well! Her boss' assistant even said she wanted me to work there because I'm so fun :D
I am getting ready for an interesting week... My birthday is Thursday, and we have to watch my niece because my bro and SIL have to work. Mom said I can sleep in while she and Kaitlyn make my bday plans and then Kaitlyn will come and wake me up - she LOVES to do that! She's too cute. I got a lil' fit-pitchy when I found out that she'd be here though... I'm so spoiled LOL I told my mom so my birthday is going to be all about the 4yr old again? (Last year my cake was a princess' cake with little figurines of each princess on it and they are now in her toy box....) Mom said we'll have a day without the 4yr old celebration later. I told her I wanted a spa day... we'll see when it happens :) I love my niece, but it's my birthday, not hers LOL There - I pitched my fit again :D
It is fun having her there though. I have to babysit her Friday ... that should be interesting seeing as how she and I argue and she throws wipies at me hahahha. I don't care when she gives me attitude though... she didnt wanna help clean up a mess she made with a bunch of cards all over the floor, and I told her I had cleaned up everything else - she had to do the cards... she picked up one by one. She was expecting me to get upset it was taking a long time and just do it myself, but I had all the time in the world... so I just held out my hands and sat there as she handed me one card at a time. It was funny. She's a pistol. I can giver her attitude right back though :D and I love it because I'm her aunt and I don't HAVE to be like her mom or my mom LOL I can't wait to have a baby here though! I love babies! LOL Sorry it got so long... I rambled.

I, personally, don't think its right for your mom to give you a party based on what a 4 year old wants. It kinda sounded like "your" party was designed around what the kid wants instead of what you would want. Its different maybe if it was your kid and they were helping to make the decisions on your party. Not real sure about that. Sounds like your mom wants to make the little one happy and that since you are an adult you can just suck it up and like the fact that you even get a cake! I guess you just have to make it what you want. Just know that some day soon you will be on your own and you can have whatever cake you want. I say go ahead and have the kiddy cake, but this time take the toys for yourself and say to her "Honey, its my Birthday, but since I love you I will let you have one." and then keep the rest of them for yourself!

Well... last year I wanted to get a princess cake because she was going to be there, but she claimed the toys, so instead of letting her take them I told her she had to leave them at our house. I just have to tell my mom where I wanna go to eat for dinner, she already knows what kinda cake I want. I am just pissy about the fact that we have to babysit her on my birthday LOL Oh,well... I just don't want her to be a brat to me because it does hurt my feelings sometimes. but i really can give her attitude right back LMAO

Thanks Barb....I was pondering on my decision all day long. I know this man is going through a lot but it just shook me up to here him scream the words f*cking witch and G-d damn to his grandchildren as he loaded them in the car yesterday. I think my neighbor across the street heard it because he saw me talking to this grandpa and he kept an eye on me and then came over to see how I was doing.I love my neighbor across the street. He and his wife are so awesome as neighbors go.
Adriana I hope you have a fun birthday and I hope that you do get your spa day in the near future. You should have a sleep over with a girlfriend and have a spa evening at home. My sister and I do that. We do mud masks, hot oil hair treatments,do sugar scrubs, manicures and relax with neck heat wraps. My sister is good at coming up with girlie stuff for us to do.
I watched Richard Gere's new movie just released at BlockBuster. I laughed. I cried. It was a good movie.I also watched Vacancy 2. I want to see that movie something about Bees. I think it is about the lives of 4 black women in the 1960's.
It's past my bedtime again. I'm running on vapors going to bed way late and getting up to early.
